My God; the God I believe in serves absolutely no purpose -does that make me an atheist or a theist?

If such a God could exist then I would be a theist; if not then I 'd be atheist.

If you ask and answer your own question, you aren't going to get much response here.

My version of a God's existence is reduced to a God who either does not exist or a God that does exist but serves no purpose .

Evidence of supernatural/God existence seems non-existent however maybe some sort of dormant God could exist. So maybe for people who believe in God it could be a God which serves no purpose; so would all 'theists' really be atheists?

The only thing that can be determined from what you're posted is that you have much in common with the God you believe in.

So I am the God I believe in ; I guess that kinda makes sense.

    That would make an atheist.

I'm sure that somewhere in the universe, this comment makes sense - just not to me.

If you believed the god created but then was hands off his creation, it would make you a Deist.
