If it’s wrapped in a roll, yes, it is.
It qualifies by all standards of what a sandwich is.

If it has mayonnaise, it is a sandwich.

It's sandwiched in bread, so it is a sandwich.
The word "Sandwich" can either be a Noun, a Verb, and an Adjective.
Twinkle Dink is working on the "Adverb" aspect of this I believe. I can't wait to see him pull it off.

    This is technically a sandwich

  • I suppose, though I'm not such a fan of this "loose" definition of "sandwich".

  • Its actually a very strict and literal definition of a sandwich. Meat served on bread= sandwich.

  • Actually, that's the exact opposite of a strict definition. lol. It's a very broad definition.

  • But taken.literally, a hotdog on bread is a sandwich .  If we are to be strict in interpreting it.
