The consensus of political analysts is that they like his apparent spontaneity. Because he doesn't say the expected thing, they think that means he's always sincere (even when caught in lies about proven facts). They don't seem to mind that he's inconsistent and frequently contradicts himself - they see this as meaning he's more human, perhaps more like them. They understand that he mouths off spontaneously, the same way they do whenever they're annoyed at anything.
I think you are a very kind person to describe the trump and his prodons that way. Very gentle. Thank you for your reply bw. After that kind response of yours toward prodons my telling you what I think would be most inappropriate so I won't. :)
