I'm sure they attend the rallies for the same reason anybody else does. They believe in what he is selling, or are Republicans and they support their party no matter what. (the 2nd reason being why people who KNOW they are harmed by Trump's policies verbally support him)
Uncle Tom is the title character of Harriet Beecher Stowe's 1852 novel, Uncle Tom's Cabin. The term "Uncle Tom" is also used as a derogatory epithet for an exceedingly subservient person, particularly when that person is aware of their own lower-class status based on race.
The Urban Dictionary defines "Uncle Tom" as a black man considered to be excessively obedient or servile to white people. (a person regarded as betraying their cultural or social allegiance.)
Many "extreme" liberals/leftists use that term on any black who agrees with a Republican view. They also use the term freely with any successful black, regardless of how hard that person fought to make their life better. If the black isn't living in ghetto conditions, many on the extreme left believe that person "sold out to whitey".
IMO, such an attitude among blacks is self-defeating ... and leaves them dependent on government ... which, in turn, means they will NEVER get out of poverty.
