He's right. The press are far more critical of a person than any senate hearing can ever be. The press loves to dig up dirt (they believe it's their job). Not only do they have the ability to dig really deep, but they are professionals at spinning an issue that is no more important than a speck of dust into mudslide. And foolish people jump right in - many times without knowing ALL the facts.

I'm not defending him (bite your tongue!). HOwever, even the most idiotic person in the world can speak a word of truth now and then.
No, I'm not a fan of the pres (media). They lie and twist facts just to promote themselves. Their talking heads are pompous blowhards spouting opinion as if it were fact - in hopes naive people will believe them... which they do - in droves!
He thinks he is being clever when he says the first thing that pops into his head.
That is what the stupid do. They are WAY too stupid to shut up or to know how stupid they sound. They have an audience and that is proof to them that they have something to say.
They never consider the look of the people that agree with them or the type of person who does.
I mean if I thought I was saying something smart and only ignorant racists and people I would not even waste my spit on were applauding me? I WOULD KNOW I NEEDED SERIOUS MENTAL HELP.
