    I would hope not.

I suffer from it at times.  Not much fun.

Not fun at all. I suffer for weeks at a time!

Yikes!  Sorry to hear.  Have you tried going to a doctor for it?

I have always been a night owl.  I envy people that nod off before 10 PM.

That depends, I suppose, on whether you believe there's an afterlife. :-)

Around my house I have another name for dawn.  I call it bedtime. :-)

I'll take a shot of Jack and an antihistamine. :-)  Melatonin works for a while...until the bizarre dreams kick in.

And the best cure at that.

A good hit in the head can make you unconscious. But that may have secondary effects. Exercise and meditation may help you solve your problem. If that's not enough seek medical assistance or use sleeping pills.

Do you know any specific Ayurvedic therapies for this?

Lol! Don't mix alcohol with the z drugs though, can be quite dangerous.

By the way, it's hard to find non-non-drowsy antihistamines here now! I guess they cottoned on!

    Does that make a difference?

I guess actual hell may be a little worse than insomnia though. Can never sleep in that heat!

Yes, mustn't go to sleep with concussion!

Thank you. Meditation is great in theory, but it's just so much effort! :) I do play sleep music though, sometimes it helps, sometimes not.

I am going to go for a walk on the beach shortly, that will probably help.

Went to doc today, got some pills, thank you.

Not a bad idea.  Used properly, medication can be very effective.

Now THAT is the worst feeling when you start to hear birds chirping and it's getting light out and you still haven't slept a wink.
