I understand that about half of them have been released with court appearance dates. So, depending on what happens when they appear, this may have been a wasted effort. The interesting thing was that the raid took place at a Koch processing plant. I wonder if that's Koch Brothers? You know the ones, the brothers that are staunch GOP/Trump supporters. Wonder how they felt having so many of their workers removed.
They may have encouraged it, if they support Trump. It all depends on how they feel it will affect them. Since they are filthy rich and a few million people even, probably would not affect them, they could care less about their BROWN workers. That is my guess.
It may not affect them on a personal level, but are you saying that 600 people gone in one afternoon from your business doesn't have a negative effect? If these people are here illegally, why isn't Koch Industries being fined?
Prosecutors are looking at fines on the businesses. The problem is ... the government tells business if a form looks valid, they have to accept it as valid. So if the business is using eVerify ... and the SSN matches the name ... the business has to assume the info is valid.
I have had employees claim they were "exempt" from tax withholding, when I knew they weren't. But because the form was filled out correctly, I had to accept it as valid.
I thought it was one business. According to Axios, check out Trump Organization's hiring practices:

Ya he stinks like sulfur because he is evil. Well the round up was going on he was at a hospital photo op - one of the photos is him and his wife with a orphaned baby they are both grinning and Trump is giving a thumbs up. The babies parents were killed in the shooting and the baby suffered multiple broken bones because one of the parents threw them self's on the baby to shield it from the bullets. Ya up until I saw that photo I sometimes thought Trumps wife had a bit of a heart and one day it would surface and shine but now I can see how naïve I was. She should of looked at Trump and said - put that thumb down before I break it and slap that phony grin off your face but she didn't she just stood there grinning while holding a baby who's parents were just killed.
