One mass masscrer dude killed 9 people in 30 seconds! Geez What's the most killed-per-second massacre ever? What prize did he win?

Of course.  Who needs an assault rifle when a bomb will suffice.  

Years ago, there was a nut in Astoria Oregon, who planted bombs in briefcases in many downtown locations.
All set to go off at the same time.  They would have destroyed over 1/2 the downtown businesses and killed thousands of people.
He was sitting in a local restaurant when the time came - and the bombs didn't go off, so he shot himself in the head.
When the police showed up, they discovered one of the briefcases next to him.
When that went on the local radio news, the other businesses called the police to report finding suspicious briefcases.

The guy missed connecting one little wire on the timers.

Do you happen to know the answer to that question m2c? To me 30 seconds with nine dead is horrifying. Not being a gun person I don't know anything about such things.
