When I'm majorly ANGRY/UPSET I go into the kitchen and cook till I'm calm. What is your SAFE way to vent?

Here's what I made...I was VERY ANGRY.

Marinated salad made of raw cauliflower, red and green bell pepper and onions. Used a GREEK SALAD DRESSING. It will get better the longer it sits. These veggies hold up very well in a marinade. Cucumbers and tomatoes do not.

Brown and wild rice with edamame.

A stir-fry of organic red leaf kale, green bell pepper, mushrooms and onions.

That gonna be dinner. Lest you think we are vegetarian which we could be but aren't I'm also going to make  corned beef on organic rye bread with the only condiment we like with corned beef... mustard. That I will fix when we are ready to eat.

What kinds of foods do you prepare for your family or like to have your SO fix?.

Although I really don't get really angry at anything, (except maybe the very idea of Burnie Sanders promoting his socialist scum ideas to our younger generation) I enjoy a tasty 'shredded chicken sandwich', something originated in the midwest and possibly made popular by 'A&W Root Beer' stands that flourished in the 1950s-1960s.

Queerly Peculiar that you felt a burning need to make a completely NON-POLITICAL question political to suit your own partisan insulting interests. I am not a fan of those who take my questions and twist them into a reason to be insulting. I'd just as soon you stay away if you can't be civil polite respectful. You used to be able to speak about other things. If you no longer can control yourself goodbye good luck so long sayonara.

  • LOL!  Hey Rosie.  Love your question.

I hate to see anyone frustrated and angry, but I must say if the end result of your over-heated emotions is a meal which sounds that mouth-watering then please let me apologize for wishing you stay mad more often and perhaps maybe one day prepare something scrumptious for all of us here at "The Mug"

All joking aside I hope you are doing well, hon.

To answer your question specifically, when I am on the verge of losing it or perhaps already have flown off the handle I find some solace letting myself become lost in a thorough cleaning of my cluttered dwelling.  I just turn on some up-beat mood elevating music, grab the furniture polish and the vacuum, and I don't stop till either everything sparkles or my blood pressure once again drops.

Looking around my space right now it would appear that I am long overdue being "ticked off"  LOL!  Happy Sunday, Rosie.  Wishing you all the best.
