I've read that infants who are not cuddled sufficiently can grow up to be SOCIOPATHS. True or faux?
Babies in orphanages or babies stripped from their parents arms and put in kennels and cages are doomed to mental illness. That doesn't seem fair to me if it is true. Does it seem fair to thee? Why?
I have read similar articles about how children who are not cuddled and loved turn out. I don't know if they all turn into sociopaths, but touch is a very important part of an infant's feeling of well-being.
Also they have a fear of falling and so being cradled in strong arms gives them a sense of security. Which proves that even at the earliest stages of our life we need to loved. I expect even in the mom's belly sweet loving words to the baby help. Of course I don't KNOW that but it seems possible. Thank you for your reply L! :)
