It depends on what you mean by "out of line". For instance, if some folks constantly and forcefully verbally or physically attack others, to me, that's out of line and I will confront them face to face to protect those being attacked. Most times some folks are just annoying and for the most part, I tend to let that slide. Is letting it slide dishonest when someone is simply being annoying? Nope. It's just not worth the bother. :)
