    Huh.  I never heard this.

I thought there was a radio talk show, about car mechanics, with the name "Frick & Frack".
Maybe it was just local.   ??

LOL---They were called "Click & Clack."

Here's a video about their show ending.  (I think one of the brothers died.)

There were on NPR.  I used to listen to it.  They were really good.

I noticed the times too.  I must have hit post reply when you started typing your answer.

But you added additional information---I forgot to post the name of the show.

They also had a column in one of the local newspapers---in the Sunday magazine, I think.

Maybe you're thinking of National Public Radio's "Car Talk," with brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi? They called themselves Click and Clack. I liked listening to that show, even though I'm not so good with cars/vehicles.
    :)

(Sadly, I just looked and Tom died in 2014.)

That's why I think it was a local show ... it wasn't on NPR, and all the callers were local.
They always came on a couple hours before "Click and Clack", and I had to change the station.

  • Sorry, no help here.

I could google it for you and do a copy and paste
but why is it so annoying when people do that?  LOL!

All I know is that sometimes things get on my fricken' nerves
and occasionally I have a frackin' bad day.

    Frick and Frack?  Sounds cute.
    Would be adorable pet names.

Copy and paste saves me a lot of time.  Any part of an answer or comment that I do not personally author is always in italics or otherwise signaled out by me as a copy and paste.

And unless I state otherwise, anything I post is an accurate representation of what I believe to be true---regardless of the source I use.  I'm always more interested in providing accurate information in my answers rather than choosing a "well known"  or specific source.

  • Thank you, because I feel the same way.  I don't ever mind personally when someone does that in an effort to provide me with information.  I have done it too for others, but it has not gone unnoticed by me how poorly received that is by some.  I'm not sure why, but it is often ridiculed and the person chastised for doing so.  Go figure.
