Mass shootings

So I get that everybody is afraid to get shot these days,so why don't they just stay home? I mean, can't you work from home, shop from home, etc. What gives? Why take chances?? Double bolt your doors, get ring, and live life!!

I guess you didn't read The Hobbit?

You can lock yourself in, but you cannot lock the world OUT.

Sorry.  It sounded good on paper and all, but no dice.

I do it,so it works more than just on paper! My doctor's office is all I get out for anymore, all else is electronic. My doctor's offices is the only risk, and they are small places,so they say they are less likely to attack in small areas.

I stay out of the neighborhoods where getting shot is prevalent.

No, I can't work from home and I have no intention of sequestering myself in my home and never venturing outside.  How ridiculous.

It isn't ridiculous at all. Alot of people do it,young people these days, but if you can't,and it is only what you're used to, don't change, just be careful.

No, a lot of people don't do it - young or old.  Most people enjoy getting out of the house whether it's for social reasons or to run errands.  Not sure where you live, but in New York City where I live, there are thousands of people out and about every day.
