I don't travel - except around the local area - can't afford it.
Did travel a lot when young. Back then, I never worried about balancing my receipts. I didn't own a credit card; relied on just cash or traveller's cheques, hence never spent more than I could afford. I chose low rent places, bought and cooked my own food, travelled by train, bus or bicycle - stayed within my means.
I’ve been a few places for holiday:) my favourite was St. Maarten. Most recently, my last two trips have been to Vegas. I’ve been to Stowe, Vermont a few times and a regular spot is Sarasota FL. cos I have a frown who had a condo there. I recently booked a trip to Cuba, going there in April next year for friends wedding. SO EXCITED for that... but it’s a wait. I’ve been other places, but that’s on top of my mind. I’ve never been anywhere in Europe though...I’m hoping that will change in the next ten-ish years or so. Also, I’ve traveled some places for business, but I don’t consider those places holiday or pleasure. So they do not count.
We have a sitter who takes care of them out is a small Dorf when we are both traveling with the Nanny. They love her, she is also our Vets lead Vet Tech. Stateside when we are there is somewhat problematic, Austria no problem. If we were back in Minneapolis no problem.
Dogs are not accorded the same treatment in the US as Austria, Germany and the rest of Northern Europe. the girls go to the restaurant with us, ride the tram etc. In the States they are banned, really a sick view iMO. Everyday they are in the office with me 35A to Oberdobling, 45 S-bahn to Dressdener and the office. NBD they are office fixtures so to speak
My name is not important. BTW, you cannot get reimbursed for massages or pedicures, so don't put them on your expense reports in the future. Don't make me tell you again.
I use Quickbooks now. Just have to enter the amount and tell it what it was spent on. (Food, motel, materials, ads, purchases etc) It does all the math.
