Do you care if your supervisor is a man or a woman? Do you care if your supervisor is younger than you are? Why? What does being a really good supervisor have to do with age or gender?

I prefer it when the supervisor is a woman.

You do? Why? The only thing I need from a Supervisor is that he/she know more than I do so if I need help I can confidently/comfortably go to my supervisor for direction/guidance. I don't care if it's someone young enough to be my kid or old enough to be my grandparent. I don't care what gender or ethnic background or religion or politics as long as none of that is brought into the work environment. I guess I'm more interested in the work and not so interested in what goes along with it! Thank you for your reply NP! :)

I know what you are saying, Rosie, but, to answer your "Why?" question, I like being bossed around by women, I've always been like that. :)
