Define breaking point.  I know I reached a place in my life where I stopped feeling sorry for everyone, even those that were unkind to me.  Learning to walk away from certain people is healthy.  I still consider myself "kind", but I won't be a doormat.

I don't allow anyone to mistreat me PeaPod.  You teach people how to treat you and at the very least you are owed civility.  I don't understand those people who accept abuse as a way of life nor those who keep making excuses for the bad behavior of others. Different  strokes. Thank you for your reply! :)  Define breaking point? Where you stop being kind to someone who never is. You stop giving chances or time or thought or care or excuses . You move on.
