Have you ever used barter. I worked a part time job for free for 8 weeks for my boss, who did a bunch of re-wiring in my house.

YAY US. No taxes...fair trade. The gubment loses zillions from barter. I love it.

    For some unknown reason, upon reading your question my first thought was that barter was a spice.
    Whoa.

    Must have been today's trip to Cedar Point playing with my head.

    Yeah, we only got there at 1:30pm-ish and left after three rides (and eating) due to the rain.

    Oh, well.

    Yes we have gotten many things that way.  
    A playhouse, a car, a vaction cabin stay on the river, some other stuff.

    But you are supposed to claim it on your taxes.

    As a couple responses point out ... it's still taxable.
    So, probably not the wisest course of action to admit on a public forum you're avoiding paying taxes.
