When is lunch? When is dinner?  When do I get to leave?  How long can I stay gone?

Most of the time it's left unsaid but it's in my head nevertheless - - - "Is he/she (they) mad at me?" And variations on that theme.

To my credit, that theme is daily languishing and losing its strength to torment me.

I was going to delete my question. Embarrassed at what I posted. But one person 'liked' it (thank you Twinkle Dink) and you commented. So I'll leave it.

Interesting, your comment/correction. Correct or incorrect, I say "Mad at me" all the time. Rarely "angry with me" -- is this something like " we're not laughing AT you, we're laughing WITH you"?

    Hi Thriftymaid!
I just thought of this - - based on other answers I think I remember you posting - - you might ask "Where are the emergency exits?"

    :)

EDIT: I might be wrong but I thought of this right when I saw your name here, so maybe I'm correctly remembering.

I don't always ask but I always KNOW where the exits are located.  I'm impressed that you remembered that.  :)

How can I be less friendly.  Am I able to walk into this room and not say anything to anyone and just sit quietly?   I was told once that from the minute I could walk I'd talk to everyone.  I'm trying to change that, maybe a couple of hello's and leave it at that.   This post was edited by Art Lover at August 27, 2019 5:41 PM MDT
