He stonewalled and obstacled President Barack Obama's RIGHT to select a Supreme Court replacement for Scalia when Scalia died. He came up with the bullsh** that it should be the right of the next president to do that. President Obama had another year in office. Moscow mitch was not fired or impeached nor did he suffer any substantive consequence. He has his admirers. Unpatriotic SOB's who just love to see justice not being served and rules not being followed and fair being crushed..
During his entire tenure as Senate Majority Leader he has stonewalled obstacled smirked sneered obfuscated denigrated the office he holds. The way it should work is the antithesis of the way he does it.
The House discusses legislation and comes up with a bill. It goes to the Senate for approval, Once it reaches the Senate it should be discussed and voted on. Sometimes the Senate will want to change it slightly. Discussion ensues and a final bill is agreed upon by both House and Senate and then voted on. Aye or Nay. That is the way it SHOULD go.
But Moscow mitch that son of an itch won't even allow a bill to come to the floor of Senate for discussion. That is not in his job description. He is purposely holding the country hostage. Why won't he do it? He is afraid it would pass and unless it is about appointing another fascist extreme right-wing nationalist populist for judge ships to control all legislation at every level everywhere he is not interested.
Why is he still there? Not doing his job? Still getting paid?
Wouldn't you love to have a job like that? The more you don't do it the more likely you are to keep it?
