.
Nothing. There is no correlation.
Uhhhhh, Trump is a gigantic disgusting hypocrite?
There is no comparison. What are you talking about?
The birther controversy is a question mark against Obama personally. It's a matter of opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion. At this last stage the matter is irrelevant. It has no bearing on policy.
Obama's refusal to call Islamic terrorism "Islamic terrorism" is indicative of a policy of pandering to Islam and trying to appease them. It's walking on egg shells for fear of upsetting anyone. Typical liberal weakness.
Hello AS:
To me, they're exactly the same.. Both people DEMAND the other to utter certain words before they're taken seriously.. It doesn't really matter what the words are..

They are not demanding the opponent say certain things "to be taken seriously". They are demanding the opponent admit having had poor judgement and thus be taken LESS SERIOUSLY.
Of course politicians make demands of each other. Of course they almost never give in to those demands. Politicians know that the opponent is not going to concede 99.9% of the time (either because they believe they're right or because it's not in their interest to admit they're wrong.)
Making such a demand is just rhetoric. It's a way to assert one's beliefs. Obama is asserting that Trump believes in "conspiracy theories" and therefore shouldn't taken seriously. Trump is asserting that Obama is a weak ass bitch who panders to our enemies and therefore shouldn't be taken seriously.
What are you saying? I don't see your point. This is just normal political behaviour. How could things be different?
Hello again, AS:
My point was that the demands are essentially the SAME. That's all..

But you seem to be implying Trump is somehow a hypocrite because he is demanding a concession while refusing to give a concession. That doesn't follow.
Hello again, AS:
I'm NOT judging the correctness of the words. I'm simply pointing out that BOTH of them are demanding that the other SAY something BEFORE they can be considered legitimate..
Personally, I don't make such demands.. But, I DO make observations.. I dunno if you wanna call him a hypocrite or just a plain liar, but Trump cannot believe that Obama was born in the US, and NOT born in the US..
Given our history, I'm sure you'll try tell me that, in spite of what I SAW and HEARD, he's ALWAYS believed Obama is a citizen. NOW, I'm judging the correctness of the words..

Ok after looking at yesterday's news I now understand what you're talking about. You're referring to the recent news that Trump's proxies say that he no longer believes in the birther theory but Trump hasn't said so himself directly.
If I were Trump I wouldn't. To say so directly has connotations of apology and Obama deserves none.
Investigations into Obama were completely reasonable and its outcome is still inconclusive in my opinion. He's hiding something. Our inability to prove exactly what that is doesn't mean we owe him some kind of apology. It is enough to simply let the matter rest.
Trump's refusal is about pride and therefore insignificant. Obama's refusal to acknowledge Islamic terror has real world geopolitical implications. They are not the same.
Hello again, AS:
Hmmm... What could both you and Trump think he's hiding?? Oh, that's right.. You think he's a Muslim, a usurper, and an illegitimate president....
Ain't nothing I can say about that.

What's wrong with the picture is the political landscape as a whole with it's decades-old picayune infighting, adolescent playground antics, accusations, bluster, and posturing. Of course the people play right along.
I don't really think Obama gives two sh*ts whether Trump says it or not !
