I'm goin' with Meghan Trainor. I love this song... I like all her songs but I like this one because I play it every time Goat and I get into an argument. Sometimes that's a lot. LOL!
Are you kidding me? Come on now. Of course Diana Ross is remembered. Maybe I'm not a good one to ask because being gay I happen to fall into the stereotypical appreciation of aging Divas. However, Ms. Ross' song "I'm Coming Out" from sometime back in the 80's is a gay anthem. And too, constantly remixing and updating old songs keeps them alive and introduces them to new audiences, especially in the clubs. Some songs are just classics and they never go away. Bobby Vinton though...meh.
And may I add, that CHER will live forever!

I would actually rather be completely deaf than force myself to endure more than thirty seconds of off-key shizzle from any of them. Music died in the mid-1990s. I can tolerate Adele. And I'm totes in love with Amira Willighagen's voice - the baby with the jaw-dropping coloratura is now fifteen, has the breath control to support her contralto register without losing the glorious high notes, her diction is authentic, her phasing clear ... THAT is talent. If you haven't heard her sing, give your ears a reward and find her on YouTube.
I told you. I'd rather listen to the sound of vomit landing in a bucket, which is what her "music" makes me want to do. Do you know if you play ...Baby One More Time backwards, she says "Sleep with me, I'm not too young"?
