"Straight Pride" parade in Boston dwarfed by counterprotesters. Straight Pride Parade?

When were STRAIGHTS ever target for hate because of whom they love? When did STRAIGHTS have to stay in a closet and pretend to be what they weren't so they could keep a job or stay alive?

STRAIGHT PRIDE PARADE? Seriously? These people have nothing better to do with their time and energy than that?

    No Shuhak. I am saying that straight people have not been targeted for death or hate crimes as have the LGBQ community. If what you ask is all you got from my question there is no dialogue possible here.  We are not even in the same book let alone the same page. Thanks. Have a good day.     Don't act like you are not ignoring the message.

    Gays do not want straight people to be GAY, they want straight people to respect all human beings as having the same rights.

    There is NOTHING about gay rights that interfers with STRAIGHT PEOPLE.  It is the STRAIGHT people that DEMAND that gay people be STRAIGHT.

    That is the difference and YOU KNOW IT.

    Straight people are protesting GAY EXISTANCE.  They don't want ANYONE to be GAY.

    So, intolerance is not acceptable.

    We will get and receive  the exact same rights as our heterosexual counterparts .

    It kind of reminds me of the Black Life's Matter thing - some  people were appalled by it and started crying that all life's matter (which is true) but because they were white they were less likely to get shot by cops which was the point of the Black Life's matter movment.     There is something SO WHITE SUPREMACIST ABOUT THIS IDEA.

    I think this is the main reason it is awful.

    Gay people are NOT TRYING TO MAKE STRAIGHT PEOPLE GAY.   But STRAIGHT PEOPLE WANT EVERYONE TO BE STRAIGHT.  That is the difference.

    And if you are NOT?  God help you. He is on THEIR side. THE STRAIGHTS.  I am Straight, but I am not STRAIGHT FROM TRUMP HELL.

  • I just dropped by to say "Thank you, Rosie".  This post and your replies, along with Sharona's have touched me.  As I am gay, I would to thank you for your public words of well-wishes and understanding.  I applaud your bold defense of people whom only wish to love.  You are to be commended for your open heart and mind.   Compassion is a rare and precious commodity these days.  Thanks for spreading a little around and sharing it with others.  You bring a happy tear to my eye.
