Is that "Insert" button PURPOSELY put where it is on the keyboard to drive people insane?



I have NEVER wanted to use it (I don't even think it's a useful option) - - but it is SO close to buttons we DO need to use that I accidentally hit it relatively often and I'm then, like, "Wth? Where are all my letters going?"

    I think the caps lock key is the most inconvenient key (the insert key on my keyboard is up by the F12 key - completely out of the way)

    You're right, Shuhak. The 'Insert' button is quite a bit over on that side, and up, but I forgot to mention I'm a pretty bad typist -  my fingers tend to travel, ha. I surely get annoyed, though. And I hit that 'Insert' way more often than the Caps lock one. But that Caps Lock is annoying, too.

    I bet I'm a worse type than you.  Even typing with one finger (per hand), I keep hitting the caps lock, the shift and the Alt keys.  However, I type so fast that when I hit as letter, my finger is still on one of those stupid keys and weird things happen (not to mention that none of the words are spelled correctly).

    "Insert" is there to give people something to chuckle about. I too find it to be a useless feature and can't understand why it exists.

    Here is another for you... "Scroll Lock"
    I NEVER use that option EVER!
