Its been dreadful. Maybe I am just not enjoying it as much this year as in times past but its definitely been a scorcher. It was 97 degrees here yesterday and my car overheated. Needless to say, so did I. I was so delirious I drank the coolant while I poured Lemonade Slushie into the antifreeze reservoir. LOL! I need a dose of Autumn fast!
We had a few 90+ degree days here in NYC and I work downtown, so the heat just comes right back up from the sidewalks and the roads. Sometimes I get so hot that it takes me 20 minutes in an air conditioned office to stop sweating. It's vey important to drink plenty of water. I know what you mean about being so hot that you can't think straight. It happens to me, too.

California isn't known for its fall color, but there is some, and I'm certainly ready for cooler temperatures and the beginning of the rainy season. The angle of the sun already seems different. Fall is on the way. :)
I really don't like the way trees look without their leaves. I prefer warm weather. I'll probably enjoy the autumn for about a week and then count the days until it's warm again.
