    I just died laughing.

Imagine Warren picking Biden.  Well..... maybe she will but I doubt it.  It would just be an embarrassment.  He would have to just shut up for the entire time.

But, maybe.... if it swings the vote?  SURE.  OK   It might be a good move, actually.  If people want Biden or people want Warren or Bernie, this could swing the vote.  OK. I see.

It might be the way to go.

Eliz and Kamala?  OH MY GOD what a great thought. Never happen.  Because? They are up against TRUMP.  We cannot take the chance.

Same with Bernie.  I think Bernie and Elizabeth and Kamala could all CREAM Trump on the debate stage.  BUT?  Is that what moves Republicans?  NOTHING MOVES THEM.

So, we have to unite the Democrats.  There is nothing else for it. WE MUST UNITE and come out in droves.   This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at September 10, 2019 1:28 AM MDT

Thank you for your thoughtful analysis Sharon. I wonder if a two-woman ticket would ever win the top spots? I think women are just as apt to vote against other women as men are. I think I'll ask. Happy Tuesday! :)

I do think Warren will get the nomonation. VP will not be Biden. She will go with a more traditional no name VP. Thank God,  The Squad members are too young. Harris would be more trouble than help.

This is one of the reasons I like to talk to you.  When you come out with stuff like this I do listen. Because it makes some sense. I hope she does NOT do that. I hope she picks Bernie or Biden but that may make it worse if the stats are showing that there are more independents out there who were leaning more towards Biden alone, or Harris or Booker even... if push came to shove.

It is a razor's edge.  I am listening. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at September 9, 2019 1:27 PM MDT

I do not think Bernie would take it.

If this were not the fight of his life he wouldn't. But removing Trump is the fight of all Democracy.  And Bernie is not stupid.  He will do what it takes to get rid of Trump and if this would work, he would do it in a heartbeat.  I don't know if it is the answer at all and maybe he doesn't think so either, but if it would get Trump out, he would sweep the floor for the rest of his life and never have to look back.  His work is accomplished. If Warren wins, he doesn't have to work any more. He did it all and she is TRUST WORTHY. So, he cannot lose if she wins.  But he needs to help her  win?  HE WILL if push came to shove.  He would bow.  LOOK what the ALTERNATIVE is.  I cannot look.

Thank you for your thoughtful analysis m2c. I appreciate it. I'm a Kamala Harris fan but you have to understand I voted for her for Attorney General in California and also for Senator so I favor her. She started off very well but she's lost a lot of juice and I can't figure out why. I expect there are dark horses out there who would love to be recruited. I guess we will find out. Happy Tuesday! :)

She back pedals to much to quickly. When it gets to specfics she falls short.  ie. She said she was for Medicare for all. But when questioned farther (next day) She said she would not get rid of private insurance. There are other examples.  Also her time as AG she is claimed to be more too hard on drug offenders, and was part of the "systemic racism"  (being tough on crime is not bad thing in my opinion but is bad in this Dem party)
That is why she has faded.

Thank you for the explanation m2c. I appreciate it. I guess I missed those because she seemed to be riding higher and higher and then bingo bongo she began to fade fast. Well anyone can generalize. The devil is in the detail. And there is that thing about being promoted to the level of your incompetence. Maybe she just doesn't have the right stuff to be president! :(

Australia has Medicare for all and did not get rid of private insurance. Ditto Germany and the UK. Maybe she looked at how the system works.

The point is she back pedaled and could not explain her position. Not as bad as a Biden gaffe but she failed.

Mr Biden has already been VP ... I doubt he wants to do it again.
Especially since it is supposedly the "stepping stone" to the Presidency.
It would be like: "WTF?  They didn't reward me for it last time, why should I do it again?"

I also doubt Mr Sanders would want it.
He would have more power staying in Congress.

You forget. BOTH of these men would DO ANYTHING for 24 years to get rid of Trump.  Anything.  So, even sweeping Warren's floors for 4 years ANYONE OF MERIT would HAPPILY do if it meant eliminating TRUMP.  OF COURSE.

So, that is the main thing they are trying to OR SHOULD be trying, to accomplish.  Your argument will not pass this obstacle; no matter how much logic you are bringing forth here. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at September 9, 2019 1:29 PM MDT

I agree with you Walt. Anyway it's moot. I think there are just as many women as men who would never vote for a woman for prez. Maybe more. Could my thinking be wrong? Sure. I'm going to ask. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)
