Can Y'all Give An Example Of A "Plurale Tantum"? I'll start...PANTS

Oooooooooooooo! That's a good one, Slarti, but...I think we need to research this.
    "Scissor Sister's"
I believe there are exceptions to that word so I am not convinced it qualifies

Invented proper name. Pant doesn't qualify either, if you're going to pick nits (he said, breathing heavily). There's this guy, too

    lol  You are correct.
You'll notice that I never definitively dismissed your entry.
I saw Scissors as a great word, but notice my edit as an afterthought.

    Insurance
It's a single tatum too.  What do you call that stuff? I know it is not a plurale tatum.  But words that are the same single or plural.  Like commerce.

Am I looking for time to come up with an answer?  Yes.  I will not google this.  I must remember things that are obvious.  Like glasses and scissors.

What about ammunition?  Oh I give up.

I thought you would dismiss this out of hand.  LOL

Randy won't like you taking my side on ANY answer.  We fake hate one another. Especially when I answer him.  He can NEVER say I did a good job on an answer except one time.  I answer him every day.  ONE TIME.

  • Dude.
That does not look anything like a nipple.
It looks like an overly large flaccid schlong.

    Horse like in characteristics.

  • I don't know.
How about I chew yours off and we'll see if it resembles.
That just looks like a vomitous mess to me, though I can see the vague makings of a nipple from a woman of colour.  But that picture way up above is a real stretch.  Stretched out about the length of a horse phallus to be exact..

You called it correct a "singulare tatum" Singular Tantum A noun that appears only in the singular form--such as dirt --is known as singulare tantum .

  • Uncommon usage in today's vernacular.  Used more in medicine.
It also is not English.  That is the Latin form.

I wouldn't swear to anything though.
I may be over my head here.

He just made your answer right.  We do not have a genetalia or two genetalias.  so it fits now.

Genitals are single and genetalia is not plural.  SO BOTH ARE RIGHT REALLY.  They both fit.

    SWEETIES.
