  • It's apparently going to be a slow death because it's supposed to still be like 90 here today.

Not dead yet in NYC - it's supposed to be near 90.  I loved it last week when it was much cooler.  My body can't adjust to these wild temperature swings.

It hit 89 degrees in Central Park yesterday and 90 at LaGuardia Airport.  It was also rather humid which made the day even worse.  Today it's going to be in the mid-70s which is perfect for me.

It is, thankfully.  I'm not a hot weather person, so spring and fall are my best times.

    Hah!
This podunk town of mine has roads that are not maintained in the winter.
Last year, there was a "rescue" of an older couple who drove their RV down a road with 3 feet of snow and got stuck because their GPS told them to.

Bizarre.  But on the first day, the weather cooled down.  It is muggy but so much more bearable.
