Do you "let things slide"? Do you let folks get away with rude and insult and attack? Do you rude insult attack back? Or just go away?

I was just thinking how you and I have almost killed each other on here.

Over the years?  Probably about a dozen times.

I feel VERY close to you, and I would be absolutely devastated if you were not around here.

So, sometimes that makes for strange bedfellows but some of the most important relationships had insane ups and downs.

Look at Martin and Lewis.  LOL  Guess which one is me?

You know why Sharon. There are two of you. I get along beautifully with one version. The other one who comes at me like an enemy? Not so much. So I withdraw until the you I like returns. At first I did not understand what was going on. Then I realized it is part of you and so I choose to engage with the part I like and can relate to and absent myself from the part I do not understand or get along with at all. Thank you for your reply sweetie. It is what it is. We are whom we are. You know m2c and I are great pals outside of our fierce difference in politics. We come together as friends apart from that one thing. Over time I know I can always count on her to be there for me if I need a friend. She has shown her true colors on more than one occasion. You too. Nothing is perfect. We learn to live with the imperfections or we become hermits. And we appreciate like he** all the good times! :) This post was edited by RosieG at September 26, 2019 4:42 AM MDT

I tend to let it slide.

    I tend to not.

But that is not something you should ever emulate.

  • I have been very rude to you in the past and typically it would have been unlike me to be so.  You should know that I am still ashamed of my behavior.  I apologized and you were very kind to, as you said, "let it slide".  You can be a class act sometimes.

I know. That's one of the things I admire most about you. Thank you for your reply m2c. Read what I posted to Sharon. Did I get anything wrong? :)
