I have been posting pics here for years. Can anyone give me instructions how to post a GIF? Since I use a desktop with Mozilla Firefox,

please don't give me instructions using a smarter-than-you phone.

    I never have posted one; but when posting any answer (including this one) there is a drop down menu available on the top line that is found by looking at the word "insert."

    I only use a desktop as well.

    You can't upload it to this site. You have to choose one that's hosted elsewhere. Copy the link address (usually an option when you right click on the gif), then click the insert image option here (has the photo icon, but doesn't say "upload"), and then paste the code in the "source" box.

    Hmm... I played with it on my iPhone and it doesn't work the same as it does using Chrome on my laptop. I'm not sure what's up with that. :/ Sorry.  This post was edited by Just Asking at October 3, 2019 1:52 PM MDT
