    Eat chicken soup.  It cures everything.
    I'm not sure if that has ever been medically proven but I can say, mentally or physically, for some reason, it does hold true. :)

    Don't crack your knuckles.  It causes arthritis.  I hate it when people do.  For that reason alone, I hope this falsehood makes them stop.  ICK!  It gives me the heebie-beegies just thinking about it.

    Swallowing gum will last in your stomach for 7 years.  Don't do it.
    This is NOT true but did stop me from swallowing my gum.

    Swallowing a watermelon seed will make a watermelon grow in your stomach.
    I DID believe this and made me a watermelon-spitting champion one year in the 7th grade!
