Could he really be that obliviously obtuse about what words mean and what he admitted to doing? And what's more as he did he was quite arrogant about it. GET OVER IT he said. Did he not know how far off base he was?
Unfortunately, that's the attitude of many politicians. "we can do whatever we want - like it or not!". Oh, they may not be dumb enough to say it aloud, but we (the people) can see by their actions that they firmly believe it.
Telling anyone to "get over it" is a sign of arrogance. that line in the declaration of independence about all men (people) being created equal doesn't apply to those in government.
Wonder how long Mulvaney will keep his job? Spilling that "trade secret" to the public is a major no-no.
