That would be GREAT!  Then the debates would be worth watching and be very informative to everyone. the only downside would be that Hillary wouldn't have anything to say if she had to tell the truth.

A year a go I would have said yes but now I must say no. Look at how the media treats hillary, they repeat all her lies as truth with great enthusiasm and ignore the ones that are so bad they can't be explained away. She gets a pass on everything. I saw even on the news they showed her unstable and cut out the part where she falls and is thrown into the van then said she just got wobbly from heat. Who can be trusted to fact check?

Look, get it straight, will ya? This is campaign time. Facts don't matter. After the votes are counted, then facts matter.

  • The concept is completely ridiculous. Most things that are discussed in politics are subjective and controversial. There are very few facts and there is no way to prevent bias in the fact checking team. It's also ridiculous to think that such a debate could be fact checked so quickly.

Even if a statement is objectively false there is no way to know whether the politician lied or was innocently taken in by someone else's errors or lies.

Most of the lies politicians tell are vague statements of their future intentions. They can't be objectively shown to be true or false. We just have to make a judgement call.

There are all kinds of sources claiming to have facts. It all comes down to which sources you put your faith in. Pretty much everything in life, comes down to faith not facts. There are very few things that an individual can personally verify.
