    When I lived in the South for a while, a lot of people did it, so I tried it. Once. That was enough.

    If it doesn't do anything cool, like explode, then I won't try it...although it might give some of this swill my wife calls beer some flavor. I'd probably choke on a peanut.

    Could see that but did that when I was probably 8 or 9 the first time and tried stuff like that. Not great but liked it.

    Nope.
    It always reminds me of those old National Geographic shows, where the bird adds stones to a water source it can't get ... so the water level rises and the bird can drink.  LOL
