Thirty-one and a half years and counting, all but one of them married. She's female, I'm male. I'm a dreamer, she's the practical one. I have the book learning, she has the street smarts. She likes race cars, I'm into cricket.
We do have similar tastes in music, and laugh at the same things. A lot.
Maureen and I would click m'dear. But you and I do too. You know why? THE IMPORTANT THINGS are what we see eye-to-eye on. Morality for one thing which is a VERY BIG THING for me and I expect for you too. I'm the practical one though I do take vacations in fantasy oftenly. But that's here. In my REAL life I pay the bills plan appointments make sure we're taking our pills. Jim is the dreamer. I have the book learning. Jim the street smarts. Both Jim and I love race cars. I'm a huge lambo fan. Any concept car at any car show I WANT but usually they don't get built. They are just there for you to dream of and salivate over. I don't understand why and I'm gonna ask. Jim is into golf and tennis and I have become a fan of both though I don't play. I cut my teeth on ice hockey back in the day of Bobby Orr and basketball back in the day of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson and little league baseball because that's what my kid played. You know how that goes. We laugh every day all day. We like old movies. I like SCIFI and Fantasy and Jim is not a fan of those so I watch them when he isn't around. I think things like that disturb him while for me it is a place of "what iffing." Thank you for your thoughtful answer. I think it's good to have different strengths in packaging but having the same content is what takes you through to forever together! :)
