When you are on the phone with someone who is droning on and on about something you have no interest in, what do you do?

My sister does that. I just put the phone on speaker and go about my business, interjecting an occasional "Uh huh" or "That's interesting.", not having a clue what she is talking about.

    I assume they just need to talk and so I allow it for a few minutes.  Then I have an immediate need to get off of the phone.  Which is always true.
