According to Newton, every force has an equal and opposite force. If I am going forward with the force of 10 newtons, there is a force of 10 newtons pushing me back. Wouldn't the forces cancel each other out? What's the deal with stuff moving?
This is one of the many reasons I love you. Facts. Just the Facts. You prove to people they don't think things through. Hugs and Loves. ;) :) ... if they think at all!! And if they do, are you sure about your facts??

I have been trying to convince myself not to overthink things. Keep it simple and the answer is there. It is my very simple understanding that two masses cannot occupy the same space at the same time. If the forces like each other, they will attract but still not share the same space. If the forces do not like one another, they will push and one will find a way around the other. Your reaction to the action of one mass occupying a space is the other mass with find a way around that mass and continue on.
