The 25th amendment was proposed July 6, 1965 and ratified by 39 states by Feb. 10, 1967. Another 8 ratified later. Will we ever USE IT?

The prez can remove himself from office in writing if he feels he is unable ti discharge the duties of his office.

If he needs to be removed it takes cabinet officers and others to do so.

So far we've had experience with prior impeachments.

Not the 25th amendment.

Will it take courage politicians will never have to invoke it and do the right thing?

trump will never 'remove' himself from anything.
President Pence ... just the thought of that sends shivers up and down the spine.   he's a weak 'yes man'.

We will use it when a President is unable to fulfill his duties.

ie. In the a coma. Had a stroke and cannot function, in a surgery (temp until recovery)  etc.
