How many books on politics do you own?

I have tons of books----period. All subjects. The new ones I want to buy are these:

2. "Democracy for Hire: A History of American Political Consulting", by Dennis W. Johnson.

3. "The Great Suppression: Voting Rights, Corporate Cash and the Conservative Assault on Democracy", by Zachary Roth.

I found 9 new publications on politics for 2016.

While there are many crappy books published about "so-called politics", they aren't listed in the real political books that are taken seriously.

I am a wastrel.   I have had literally hundreds of books in my life.  I read them over and over and destroy them.  I cut them up.  Yes, I do that.  I used books like they were 3 dimensional.  SO, I have very few that are currently in my house.  I have a half dozen Ann Rule books I keep on hand for emergencies that I just have to read when I have zero else to do.   I have read all her stuff and always give them away and want them again and buy them used somewhere.

I have a ton of anatomy books that have to do with school.  I have tons of Sai Baba's books on his life.  I have a lot of art books, artists, and methods of application.

That is it for my boring collection at present.  I only want books now that I can't get online.  I don't want all that material stuff around.   I need to live lightly.  I don't want to move that stuff and I don't want to leave it behind for the trash man.  So, I do a lot of giving away and then buying it again if I need it.

Oh wait, I DO have a lot of historical and political books.  I usually read chunks of them at a time rather than say an entire book about Clinton lying about his life as he sees it.

I like Clinton, don't get me wrong, but that book sounds like he is on trial for his life and must highlight every good moment he thinks he is responsible for.  But I do like the guy.

@S., thanks. Fortunately, the book "Clinton Cash" is not on the list. It is considered using incorrect information. That is what I'm talking about. Thank you for sharing. I had so many books, I took them to Goodwill to be sold for pennies. I hated giving up my precious babies. I also had to cut down.

My 'library' can be fairly cleanly divided into five sections: theology, psychology, sociology, politics and DIY.  (I say 'fairly' because I've a few orphan volumes in history and ufology. I'm a Jungian. So sue me. :-))
