She is in a wonderful assisted living facility.  I visit her on Sundays.  It's usually enjoyable.  We go out and shop, get my car washed, go for coffee somewhere, etc. or just stay at her place.  For many years visiting with her was not enjoyable but now it is.    I'll pick her up to spend a couple days with family at Thanksgiving.

Visiting my mother's grave with my father. Very emotional.

Tough question to answer when both your parents are dead.

I’m sure they haven’t always been dead, right?

Of course not, but they have been dead for some time, so any "great" moments would not be considered "recent."

  • I still share a lot of good moments with my parents. One recent one was when the three of us went on a hike this past weekend. It was just the three of us enjoying each other's company and spending the day together. I'm glad we're close and that we can still do stuff like that. :)
