Any sporty folks out there who use CBD body lotion to mitigate pain/cramping? If so do you use it BEFORE or AFTER you play?
When Jim plays golf he almost always gets cramps a few hours after he plays. I Googled it and it seems you can use it before, after or both before and after you play sport. Thanks for whatever info ya got.
I used Tiger Balm. Still do. Works with arthritis, to a point, as well as relieving cramped muscles. Always after - you don't know what muscles will be affected, or to what degree, beforehand.
I've heard of it R but never used it. Thank you for the info. Does it contain the CBD that seems to be so popular currently? I'll tell Jim. I just added it to our Tuesday marketing list. I'm guessing it has no pot in at because it's been around for a bazillion years. :)
Nope, wintergreen. Methyl salicylate, works like contact aspirin - the methanol carries the salicylic acid through the skin to where it does the most good. I've not heard that CBD has any therapeutic effect when applied topically, I think it has to be taken internally. It's also not a miracle cure-all, but has been proven efficacious in the treatment of some conditions including epilepsy and certain early stage cancers.
It comes in all forms here in California R. A friend of Jim's eats GUMMY BEARS with it. I'm not sure which form works best. Separate subject. Did you see that match with Ash and Plishkova where Ash made THREE ACES IN A ROW? She is on a tear. Thank you for your reply m'dear! :)
She was IN tears after her Fed Cup choke against Kristina Mladenovic. Like her mentor and Idol, Evonne Goolagong-Cawley, her mind seems to wander now and again.
Well Plishkova won the first set so Ash did something right and won the next two.
I have NO IDEA what kind of pressure champions in sport face R. I know I don't have the right stuff to withstand it. He** I get nervous enough WATCHING the matches when I'm pulling for someone to win. She's tough she's smart she's feisty she's YOUNG. She's done remarkably awesomely spectacularly well and so mebbe sometimes she has to relax breath step back mentally. I don't know what a champion athlete thinks about on the court. Jim sez they have to focus 100% on the game but how can you block uncertainty? Anyway more power to her. I don't know if you recall the meltdown Martina Hingus went through when she LOST to Steffi Graf but she humiliated herself. I never liked her. She was talented but obnoxious. Her mom forced her to go out on the court after the match from what I read. She had badmouthed Steffi and said she was too old or whatever. No place for bad sportsmanship like that. I cannot imagine Ash doing that. Of course Serena has had her bad form moments. More than one. Ash might get down on herself but she sure isn't gonna go after others and attack them. At least I cannot imagine that ever happening. Sorry for the long reply! Bye!

Precisely. Currently Jim is watching Nick play Medvedev and Nick won the first set 7/6. You watching? Oh. It could be a tape of a prior match! Anyway GO NICK! :)
OK. I'll stop shoving Nick down your throat m'dear. Lotta talent in Australia. Canada too. Years ago the USA was more dominant. Remember Pete Sampras? Those days are long gone I think. Evolution. Thank you for your reply R!:) Nick beat Medvedev but what I thought was so nifty is that he was very gracious in his speech and very gentlemanly and I was impressed. Jim said "maybe he is growing up". I said "maybe so". OK. That's it. I promise I won't bring him up again. He won a trophy. He stuck it out and pulled it off! Kudos. Happy Saturday R! :)

Who sneered? Records made are fine and dandy. How you make them matters. You don't go off on someone and make a big deal out of it if you are being coached and it is obvious. She high-horsed herself to a ridiculous degree demanded she get an apology. She also brought Osaka to tears when Osaka beat her and had the crowd going wild with her bad behaviour. She RUINED it for Osaka. She simmmered the crowd down after they and she had made spectacles of themselves. I do not forget. She can win 50 slams. She will always be the rude selfish arrogant player she always was. She hasn't won a slam for awhile and she is getting older and frantic. The youngsters are beating her. I'm glad. She had her day and made her records and now let's give the stage to folks like Ash Barty. OK. I'm done on this issue..

Both L though it is most consistent and obvious with the golf. I looked it up and it seems that getting cramps after playing golf is very usual. Who knew? He drinks tons ot liquid daily. He gets dry mouth from meds and so he always has his bottle of water nearby. Today is Saturday...golf day. He and his friend go out to lunch afterwards and then he comes home and kicks back and relaxes. Usually a few hours later he'll jump out of the chair and start walking around cuz of cramps. I have bananas available and also tomato juice...both are high in potassium. He used to take potassium supplements but it affected his liver so he stopped. Fingers crossed we'll figger it out. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday sweetie! :)
We do too honey. He's taking banana with him to munch on and when he comes home he'll drink some tomato juice and then apply the CBD lotion. Hopefully it works. Thank you for your reply L! :)
