Considering it's a $75M investment, as opposed to an $8B (although some less conservative estimates are double that, or more) investment, to secure a 541mi vs a 2000mi border, and considering that even Trump admitted that Mexico's illegal immigration problem was ALSO Anerica's immigration problem, and considering it's a cooperative plan with Mexico, as opposed to a hostile and combative one, I think it's a very smart plan.

  • None of the sources found in your link mention a wall of any kind except for the one Donald Trump wants to build at the U.S./Mexico border.

Thanks for posting the link so we could really see what this is  about... The link says that the CONGRESS has appropriated $2.3 billion  for a 4 step joint program with the Mexican Government starting in 2007.... It appears the bulk of the program is aimed at illegal  drug and human trafficking by the Mexican and Central American Cartels .  It's not designed so much as to keep those poor immigrants out of their country as you say..  !!!

Why can't I stop laughing at this ?    $75 million ?    In 2014 The US spent $5.6 billion on ( ICE) Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  The US  also sent $3.7 billion on the US Border Patrol.   Your $75 million revelation would fund the Border Patrol for about 48 minutes    Keep up the good work, LMAO !

  • You know the difference between trafficking and immigrating, and you make yourself look an absolute fool pretending you don't.

Yeah, doesn't it make a lot more sense to work with the Mexican government, to help them solve their border problems, which spill over to the northern border eventually, than try to strong arm them into paying for a much more expensive wall that's not even within their borders? Apparently this project has been underway even prior to Obama's presidency, yet Trump never mentioned it... could it be that he's not even aware of it, until now maybe?

Do you believe that some of the illegals in the USA, did not come through human trafficking? Do you not believe a wall on our border would help?

Oh yes, there is a thing worse than YouTube comments, and that is Facebook comments. I have looked into the abyss, and it has looked into me.

  • Victims of human rights violations are not criminals (illegal immigrants.)  A wall would not help in the fight against human rights violations.  They would be trafficked in through other U.S. borders or sent to different counties altogether.

Your questions are just an attempted distraction at your previously feigned ignorance.

So why will Mexico's southern border wall help with their human trafficking, and drug problems? But not with the problem of human trafficking and drugs on our own southern border?  Surely, you don't believe it does not exist.

I say build both walls.  The one on Mexico southern border and the one on our southern border.

  • A wall won't help.  If you read through DTT's link sources, there is no wall mentioned except for Trump's.  And that is something I already pointed out in the the 2nd response to DTT's question.
