Ugh.  Everything is so far away.  Screw that.  You have to get in the car and walk places.  WALK. Imagine.

Imagine what I would have to do to go somewhere with you.  Imagine.  You would hate me by the time I got there, I  would be crabby.

Id do it but shamefully, im still in a questionment phase of my life. I just had surgery and i did a *bad* mistake and the result isnt so nice; im not sure if its because of my mistake or the surgeon did a bad job.

but despite all, the result sucks. So Im not so confident in going to public places and showing myself off.

    :-P

We still do need to get clothed and leave the house or have friends visit.
Socialising online is not the same.
Very few people here freely reveal their situations, history, experience and full selves - and when they do only with small, incomplete windows.

In real life, one can see a friend frequently over a long period of time and the friendship just grows deeper and richer.
One can see a person face to face, hear their tone of voice, see their expressions and mannerisms, have and give instantaneous present-time feedback. There is no substitute for the quality of that.

Not in those days, it wasn’t weird. It was that, or pants-less isolation.
People had less information back then,  but had more initiative, more pride in their appearance, and better social skills.

Times have changed, but please don’t assume all for the better.
