    No one said Crowdstrike is a Ukrainian company.  It is an American company based in California. The owner is Dmitri Alperovitch a Russian-born American.  Crowdstrike was hired to by the DNC to investigate the hacking of their server. (DNC server emails----not Hillary and her server and emails) Crowdstrike refused to give the server to the FBI for them to investigate and determine who hacker it. FBI has never seen it to examine it.  

    There are allegations that Crowdstrike hid the server in Ukraine.

    President Trump said Crowdstrike is a Ukrainian company in his interview on Fox on 11/22. It took me a while to find a clip without watching the hour-long interview, so don't read anything into the fact that this is from a Seth Meyer bit.

    Ok. Well, he is wrong.
    It is owned by a Russian born American. Does not change the allegations that the DNC server maybe hid in Ukraine.

    Well, that was the question - why does Trump say Crowdstrike is Ukranian. It didn't ask about the physical server, which from what I know about servers, is probably many servers connected via the Internet and any data needed for investigations would have been copied an preserved digitally.

    The point of the question is to deny the possibility of Urkainian meddling. Which they did do. They just were not the ones who hacked the DNC.
