I think it's way up north, possibly on your latitude.
This is all if, if, if. It depends on the identities of Muggers whose avatars and usernames I believe have changed. I think they were absent for a while, perhaps even banned, and came back. I guess this from their interests and the way they use language.
I used to correspond with Goatsie more closely many years ago. If it's him, he runs an organic dairy goat farm on permaculture principles. I once had three pet goats so I got to know a little about the species. One thing one can't do is leave them. They fall in love with their owner-carer and are so bonded that they won't eat if the person goes away. Their milk will dry up, and they will lose weight until they are like walking skeletons. Caretakers don't work. The only exception is if the herd is looked after by two or more people; they will accept anyone familiar to them. I don't think Goatsie has anyone else living there. I think he did have a partner there once, ages ago, but the partner left.
For this reason, Twinkie would have to travel to Goatsie's place. I think Twinkie would love it there. If Twinkie's the man I think he is - also from previous acquaintance on the Mug - he is a landscape gardener, an exotic dancer and a devout Christian - with a talent for writing good enough to turn professional if he wished. A landscape gardener would be a fabulous helpmate on a permaculture farm.
In addition, Goatsie's hobby is art and landscape photography. He's very good at it. His shots are up there with the top prize-winners in the US.
The fact that they're also both creatives gives them another field of interests in common.
They are still looking in on the Mug once in a while - but like you, I miss them.

Nope. I'm merely assuming that they're in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. I'm guessing that if they are the people I think they are, then Goatsie could not leave his goats and neither could afford hotel accommodation. It would make sense for Twinkie to move in with Goatsie - even if only to see how compatible they are. When in love, being close is all that matters. Hopefully, they'll give us their news when they're ready to come up for air. And I'll get to find out whether I guessed right.
