    i PREFER TO WALK IN THE WOODS IN PRESCOTT ON CHISTMAS EVE AND SMELL ALL THE PROTECTED PINE TREES.  THAT IS WHAT I WISH EVERYONE WOULD DO.

    BUT THAT SAID?  FAKE TREES ARE GORGEOUS AND BELONG IN OUR HOMES, NOT TREES WE ARE KILLING FOR JESUS AND SANTA FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN WASTING A LIVING THING FOR OUR PLEASURE.  GONE ARE THE DAYS WHEN LIVING TREES MADE SENSE.  WE ALREADY DISOBEYED MOTHER NATURE'S COMMAND TO HONOR THE PLANET, DECADES AGO.     Do the blinkers drive you bonkers Nanoose? Jim and I have been together since September 1997 and never once had a LIVE tree. We don't believe in killing them to entertain us for a couple of weeks and then junk them. Thank you for your reply! :)

    None of us like blinking lights. Tomorrow our son is bringing our Granddaughter over for lunch and to see my Christmas decorations so I'm pretty excited about that. Cheers and happy weekend!

    We have a pre-lit tree with clear lights.  I put a strand of multi colored lights on it.  Yes we like them to blink.
