Is there any country in the world that can match the USA for being famous for its quantity of money-hungry hoors?

Thank goodness for CANADA! Our northern neighbors provide medication to us much CHEAPER. Are they losing money on it? Doubtful. They just don't need to gouge customers to make a profit. How many of you Americans gets all your meds filled from Canadian sources because the domestic providers are obscenely wealthy highway robbers?

Part of the reason for the high cost of American pharmaceuticals, is to "recoup" the low cost of those same drugs sold in other countries.
Somebody has to pay the R&D costs, in the short time allowed before generic drugs flood the market.

When the drugs are sold in a hospital (EG: charging you $100 for an aspirin) ... that cost doesn't go to the manufacturer.
It is to help "recoup" the costs of people who don't pay.

If we really want lower drug prices, we need to figure out some way to pay the high R&D costs of developing new/better drugs.
And if we want the taxpayer to fully fund that research, we need to create guidelines on how to select which diseases we research drugs for.

Who audits the so-called "research costs" Walt? I don't trust them to report truth. I think they jack up all the costs and have no oversight to audit them and verify. Do you know how they go abour PROVING the verity of their numbers? Thank you for your thoughtful reply! :)
