    (I enjoy Columbo, too, but Peter Falk, to me, was especially amazing in the movie

    "A Woman Under the Influence."

    The excellent movie also stars, as Falk's wife, the incomparable Gena Rowlands who so often is God to me.)

    Both stars are two of my favorites.  John Cassavetes?  I think he wrote that movie you are talking about.  Wasn't he married to Gina?

    Yeah, Cassavetes did write that movie I think. And I'm almost positive he directed it, too. And he and Rowlands were married, yup.

    UPDATE: I just checked - - yeah, Cassavetes both wrote and directed that movie.

    He was on there ALL the time!!  I had no idea who he was until you mentioned his name.  He is amazing and I am going to watch that show some day.  It looks GOOD.
