Which works best? Viewing things as either/or, as polar opposites, as spectrums, or as the result of complexity?

In my view, not everything can be effectively described by it’s complexity, though this is not a method we should discard; and to view things as polar opposites -essentially an ”either, or” proposition- is to miss the shades of possibility in between. So, of the choices presented, I’ll go with the spectrum analysis. This post was edited by Don Barzini at December 12, 2019 5:10 AM MST

    (it’s its complexity)

And no, that’s NOT all I got out of what you wrote.

It depends on the situation. There’s not always a one-way best choice.
