You're about to add either cheese or bacon to make a favorite food of yours taste even better. If you had to choose one but not the other, which would it be, and what's the food item?

I can't decide if I should add cheese to my bacon, or add bacon to my cheese.

It would be cheese.  I don't add bacon to anything.  About once a year I buy some to make BLTs. 

You're forcing me to pick one or the other? What kind of cruel, inhumane b****** are you?

What did I say, honey.  Once a year I buy some (bacon) to make BLTs.  I don't dislike bacon but it really doesn't seem to have that strong taste or small I remember in years past.  It may just be my senses weakening.  I hope not!!

Cheese is the last thing I would add to my food to make it taste better, because it couldn't possibly make anything taste good. I don't understand for the life of me how anyone can actually eat that stuff.

Cheese because I don't eat meat.  Easy.

Anything that calls for either of them, will get the cheese.  No gross, salty, greasy pig skin for me today; thanks anyway.

Both spellings are acceptable, although I personally prefer to spell it "favourite" because, as I'm sure you can tell from my avatar, I am British. However, there is nothing wrong with the American variant spellings. The spellings themselves don't annoy me, but the one thing that always does get me riled up is the spellchecker's insistence that the American spellings are the only correct ones even on a British computer. Who would have thought that a simple, inanimate computer programme could be so arrogant? Lol:)

Hmmmm, was she really correcting me, or was she presenting an alternative spelling? Either way, I took it as a friend lightheartedly jabbing me in my ribs, which is why I jabbed back at her ribs. (Nice ribs, by the way. It felt good jabbing her.)
