For example, while I would probably have massive policy disagreements with former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and I strongly question the wisdom of hiring an oil company executive for that position, nevertheless Tillerson was CEO of ExxonMobil for many years and I believe he has a PhD in a petroleum-related scientific discipline. I don't think Tillerson will have trouble finding work if he wants it.
The problem, of course, is that if you are a member of the Trump administration and you are NOT a sycophantic butt-kisser, you will rapidly run afoul of Trump's kleptocratic narcissistic demented style of government.
So, inevitably, the non-sycophants resign and end up in an insult wars with President.

It is so nice to see that everyone loves the Salty Pebble. You seem to blend nicely with the people of mind on here and in perfect tandem with people I argue with. I guess we may actually get along on here. Look out. That is not a good recommendation to a lot of the "others".
The ones' that do not get Randy Rainbow and think he is going to hell. They think Randy is hell and Trump is heaven. I just try to be best.
Now on Rex. That was a most thoughtful answer and so true. I guess we could throw Comey into that mix as well. I'm thinking of the one's who tried to stay. At all costs. Tillerson was in no way gonna back TRUMP on anything. Tillerson ran his own show all his life.
I did not agree with any of his tactics in running a company that runs roughshod over the environment, but HE WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT AS WILLIAM BARR. Meaning, if he were qualified (and he is far more qualified than Barr at anything where following the objective rule is concerned) but if he were "allowed" to be Barr, that would have been a story you and I could get behind. Tillerson would not have ruled in Trump's favor and break any law to cover TRUMP.
Tillerson, as you so deftly reminded me, has a JOB on the other side. And if Fox News or Dancing with the Stars is overbooked, the rest of the Sara Huckabee's are SOL. Stephen Miller needs to apply at NAZI'S ANONYMOUS Magazine's Editor-in-Chief position ASAP.
Yes. Rex Tillerson and Jim Comey. Both would not BREAK THE LAW FOR THE PLEASURE OF SERVING UP THEMSELVES FOR DONALD TRUMP'S FALL-GUY BANQUET.
